Trone Toilet Care and Maintenance

Trone is a reliable and efficient way to clean after using the toilet. But like any electronic device, it requires some care and maintenance to keep it working correctly. Thankfully, cleaning your Trone toilet is no more difficult than cleaning the conventional toilet in your bathroom. Trone will add a minute to your regular bathroom cleaning routine when it's all said and done.

your Trone electronic toilet will always be ready for action when properly care for it

Here are important tips on how to keep your Trone electronic toilet clean and work properly:

First and foremost, ensure the power is turned off and the water supply angle valve is closed before doing any maintenance work.

Toilet Bowl Cleaning

Like a regular toilet, your Trone toilet bowl needs to be cleaned regularly. The good news is that no special cleaners are required – any good bathroom cleaner will do the trick. A soft, damp cloth is enough to wipe the toilet shelf and seat. Remember to avoid using abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the bowl.

Self-Cleaning Nozzle Maintenance

Your Trone electronic toilet comes with a self-cleaning nozzle that does a great job of keeping things clean. But it's not maintenance-free. The nozzle should be cleaned every week or more often if needed.

To clean the nozzle, do the following:

  • Rotate the knob upwards to the backwash setting and hold it upwards for approximately 2-3 seconds. The spray wand will then extend.

  • Wash the cleaning tube and nozzle with a toothbrush coated with toothpaste.

  • Do not use excessive force.

  • Press the Stop button to take the nozzle tube back after cleaning.

Cleaning the Junction Block

The junction block is installed on the water supply angle valve. Remember these necessary things:

  • Do not press it with a foreign matter and keep it away from any corrosive substances.

  • Install indoors away from sunny or cold weather and heat sources such as heaters, Yuba lights, etc.

  • Replace the junction block after it has reached the end of its service life.

  • Turn off the water supply angle valve if you will be at home for a long time (due to travel, etc.)

  • Change the filter every six months.

Cleaning the Steel Mesh Filter

The steel mesh filter is located under the electronic toilet. Please clean the steel mesh (or replace the filter) according to the local water quality. When the cleaning strength becomes weaker, clean the steel mesh or replace the filter on time.

It's recommended that you clean the steel mesh every month or two. To do so, remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise with a coin and cleaning it with a brush.

Replacing the Battery

Your electronic toilet uses batteries. When the battery power is low, the toilet will beep to remind you to replace the batteries.

To replace the batteries:

  • Unscrew the screws that secure the battery cover.

  • Remove the old batteries and dispose of them properly.

  • Install the new batteries.

  • Screw the battery cover back on.

Following the tips above, you can keep your Trone electronic toilet clean and working properly. With just a little care and maintenance, your Trone will provide you with years of reliable service.
